Year 3 English learning Monday 23rd March
Good Morning all !
I hope you are getting used to staying indoors, it’s odd isn’t it?! I am sitting here in my pyjamas setting your task for today, maybe you are in your onesies or pyjamas too.
I am hoping that all of you will be logged in, reading this and having a go at the activity I set every day. Every school day morning I will post the day’s activity. I know that you may not be able to be online too long as other people in your family have online work to do as well, so our English work will not take more than about an hour. I would like you to blog your answers back to me, or you can add it to your pupil files.
We will be using the website Pobble365 each day this week. In the top righthand corner it has a button that says PICK A DAY. Click on it, and then click on 23rd March. (Monday’s date).
You will see a picture. The picture is like our text in DR. We are going to ‘read’ the picture and answer the questions underneath in the part called QUESTION TIME. I want you to blog the answers back to me. (You can start your answers with ‘I think that’ just like we do at school).
There are about 5 questions to think about and answer about the picture. There are also some other tasks such as ‘sick sentences’ or ‘finish the story’. I only want you to do the task I specify each day. You do NOT have to do all of them as it would take ages! However I do expect everyone to do the task I ask you to do.
However if you WANT to, or your parents would like you to do more of the tasks, you can. I will respond to the work later in the day. If you want to do extra tasks you could write them on paper and show them to your parent f you can’t blog them back to me.
I would like you to try your very best to send me the work by 3pm each day. Then I have plenty of time to respond to you.
I would also like you to try your best to remember CAPITAL LETTERS and FULL STOPS!!
Let’s have a go and see how we get on!
Best wishes from Ms Heath
